NBC Emerges Best Company in Environmental Sustainability at LAPRIGA Awards 2020

Barely a few weeks after earning double recognitions at the prestigious Guardian Manufacturing Excellence Awards, the Nigerian Bottling Company has again emerged Nigeria’s Best Company in Environmental Sustainability at the annual Lagos Public Relations Industry Gala and Awards (LaPRIGA) 2020.

Over the years, NBC has continued to demonstrate leadership in driving environmental sustainability in Nigeria, leveraging its robust water stewardship and world without waste strategic pillars.

Reacting to the award, Director of Public Affairs and Communications, Ekuma Eze, expressed appreciation to the organizers for creating a credible platform to recognize excellence and professionalism in the industry.

“This award is not only a celebration of the remarkable commitment and resilience of our people, but also a confirmation that as an organization, we prioritize environmental sustainability and socio-economic contributions to communities where we do business.

“We will continue to set the pace, especially in the Nigerian manufacturing scene, and ensuring that, more than anything else, sustainability remains a critical element of our corporate culture and strategy,” Ekuma said.  

The award, now in its fifth edition, is held annually to celebrate excellence, winning corporate projects, outstanding industry practitioners and stakeholders in the Nigerian communications sector.
