It has been a very eventful year for the Nigerian business as we have been engaged in various high-level visits and interactions since the year started. From the visit of the Minister of Trade and Productivity to the Ikeja plan to the Governor of Edo state visiting Benin Plant, all the way to the System visit to the State House, Abuja to have audience with the President of the country during the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour.

And so it was that we received a very distinguished delegation of OpCo members led by our CEO, Zoran Bogdanovic.

The visiting entourage consisted of the CCHBC CEO, Zoran Bogdanovic,  OpCO members, Michalis Imellos (Chief Financial Officer), Marcel Martin (Supply chain Director), Sanda Parezanovic (Human Resources Director) and unavoidably absent was Naya Kalogeraki (Chief Customer and Commercial Director).

There were various meeting sessions with the Nigerian leadership team led by Georgios Polymenakos (MD, NBC) as well as system meetings with TCCC leadership team led by Peter Njonjo (WABU President)

Zoran and members of his team then embarked on a market visit to Agege market where they met with customers and dealers and had insightful conversations on the performance of our various products, present challenges and shared suggestions on how to do more to ensure profitability.

The next day, the Town hall meeting with members of the NBC workforce and leadership held at the Head Office with over 180 people in attendance. Zoran spoke passionately on the performance of 2017, encouraged more for 2018 while stressing the importance of the growth mindset. Questions from across plant locations and the head offices were addressed brilliantly and to close off the event, colleagues had the opportunity to take photographs with the CEO.
