Over the years, Nigerian Bottling Company Limited has been honored to have received several awards that recognise the hard work and commitment of the company to Nigeria and the people of the Nation.

SERAS 2022 SERAS 2022

 Africa Procurement & Supply Chain Awards (APSCA) annual award ceremony is aimed at celebrating outstanding organisations that exemplify excellence in Supply Chain Management throughout the continent and is widely recognized for its commendation of innovation, ethics, and progress in the procurement industry. 

NBC’s Procurement Director, Omobonike Oketunji was recognized as one of the top 20 Women in Procurement & Supply Chain while Misan Ilesanmi Idehen, Head of NBC’s Supply Chain Academy bagged the Gender Equality in Supply Chain award for her exceptional expertise and professionalism in the industry. 

Furthermore, NBC was presented with the prestigious Excellence in Supply Chain Capacity Building award. This award was in recognition of its efforts through its Supply Chain Academy which has been in existence for almost three decades to empower the company's technical personnel and extend benefits to aspiring young professionals in the manufacturing sector nationwide. 

In recognition of its outstanding contributions to professionalism, excellence and nation-building, the Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC) Ltd., has been awarded at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) 2023 Annual Dinner and Awards.

The 2023 ICAN Merit Award was conferred to the foremost consumer packaged goods company in the Corporate Body Category, highlighting its exemplary corporate governance practices, commitment to transparency and accountability, as well as efforts to drive sustainable development in Nigeria. 

Leading consumer packaged goods company, Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC) Ltd. has emerged one of the top winners at the 2022 SERAS – CSR Awards. 

The Company bagged awards in two categories, Best Company In Net Zero Transition and OPSWASH Award For Best Company In Water and Sanitation, for its contributions towards environmental sustainability.

Leading consumer packaged goods company, Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC) Ltd., has been recognized for its innovation and operational excellence at the 2022 edition of the ECOWAS Manufacturing Excellence Awards (EMEA) organized by Independent Newspapers, BusinessDay- Ghana and African Consolidated Analytical Limited.

NBC emerged winner across three key categories, including ECOWAS Energy Drinks Manufacturing Company of the Year; Juice/Beverage Drinks Manufacturing Company of the Year, and ECOWAS Soft Drinks Manufacturing Company of The Year.

Non-alcoholic beverage giant, Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC) Limited has emerged winner in the ‘Best Company in Education’ category at the 13th edition of the Social Enterprise Responsibility Awards (SERA) CSR Africa Awards, which was held recently in Lagos.

NBC was declared winner ahead of other organizations nominated in the category including Chevron Nigeria Limited, Flour Mills of Nigeria, Nigerian Liquefied and Natural Gas (NLNG), 9Mobile and Oando Foundation.

Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC) was recognized as the 3rd Best Company to Work in the FMCG Sector, in the 2019 edition of the annual Jobberman 'Best 100 Companies to Work for in Nigeria' report.

Nigerian Bottling Company Ltd (NBC) was recongised with thecoveted Oustanding Talent Strategy Award by the the HR People Magazine Awards.

The annual award celebrates oustanding achievements and excellence in the HR profession in Nigeria. It prides itself as a foremost platform that recognises "top people, initiatives and strategies that have excelled in various organisations."

The Nigerian Bottling Company Ltd (NBC) was recognised as the Corporate PR Ambassador of the Year by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), the umbrella body that regulates the practice of Public Relations in Nigeria.

NBC was recognized as the 'Best Company in Gender Equality and Women Empowerment' in the 2018 edition Social Enterprise Report Awards (SERAS) CSR Awards which held  in Lagos

At the Guardian Manufacturing Excellence Awards which held in Lagos,  the Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC) was recognized and presented the award of “Soft Drink Manufacturing Company of the Year, 2017”  by The Guardian Newspaper, one of the foremost media organizations in Nigeria in collaboration with the African Development Studies Centre.

The NBC Abuja manufacturing plant of the Nigerian Bottling Company (a member of Coca‑Cola Hellenic group) received the prestigious Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) Certification in January 2019.

In August of the same year, the NBC Ikeja Plant was presented with the 1st AWS Gold certification for a manufacturing plant in Africa.

The International Water Stewardship Standard, or the AWS Standard drives, recognizes and rewards good water stewardship performance. NBC is the first organization in Nigeria, and the first Coca‑Cola bottling plant in Africa to be certified under the AWS global water stewardship program.

The Science-Based Targets initiative announced that Coca‑Cola HBC is one of only 12 companies implementing approved science-based carbon emission targets.

Non-alcoholic beverage giant, Nigerian Bottling Company Limited (NBC) has been conferred with the prestigious National Productivity Order of Merit (NPOM) Award by His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The Award Ceremony which was part of the 16th National Productivity Day celebration, took place on February 21, 2017 in Abuja and was themed, ‘Productivity for Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Employment’.

Our 2013 Integrated Report took home the Best Shared Strategic Value award in London’s Strategic Report Accolades, presented by Communicate magazine and FutureValue.

Coca‑Cola HBC has been named Industry Leader – the top-performing company in the beverage sector – and awarded a Gold Class distinction in RobecoSAM’s annual Corporate Sustainability Assessment.

Coca‑Cola HBC was awarded Most effective sustainability communications in the FTSE 100 for its 2013 Integrated Report in the Investor Relations Society’s IR Best Practice Awards 2014.

The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) is the only global system for companies to measure and share vital environmental information. The CDP has given Coca‑Cola HBC an 'A' rating, marking our commitment to environmental accountability.

Coca‑Cola HBC was awarded a position in the CDP’s Global Climate Performance Leadership Index 2014, which lists all climate leader companies.

The Coca‑Cola HBC Health & Safety Campaign for Safe Driving, coinciding with the launch of the UN Decade of Action for Road Safety, was recognised by Lattitude as one of the most inspiring safety initiatives of 2011.
